The past few weeks we have been having athletics practices for our Inter-House competition. We have been taught how to run, throw a shot-put ball, do the long jump, high jump and throw a flying fox. My 2 favourite activities were running and long jump. We learnt how to run technique and lean forward so we can slice through the air with speed. We tried running backwards, running with our arms folded and with our hands behind our backs we went much slower. In long jump we got taught how to jump on one foot and land with 2 always if you landed on one you would be disqualified. I feel like when I doo athletics I have a good chance of hitting up interschool and and winning.
