Lest We Forget
Fear, pain, suffering, regret,
Emotions of the innocent destroyed through the war.
Bullets raining everywhere like waves crashing on the shore.
People screaming with panic, people falling to the ground.
Death lies at bay.
Tanks thundering through the battlefield.
Soldiers rummaging for bullets, bodies lay scattered on the ground.
Blood gushing everywhere.
Wounded men lay still on the ground.
Guns blazing.
War is as ferocious lion fighting for its life.
Chaos never to be forgotten,
“Lest we forget.”
